Privacy Policy for JSON Schema Studio
About this policy
This policy describes how JSON Schema Studio, provided by Azbruk soft, handles information. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact contact@azbruktov.online.
Information accessed and stored
JSON Schema Studio processes the JSON documents, schemas, and comparison inputs you enter or import. These may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Processing takes place locally on your device, without an account or an app-operated network service.
The app stores saved projects locally, including their names, documents, associated schemas, locally generated project identifiers, and modification timestamps. It also automatically saves the current working document, schema, project name and identifier, and your indentation and editor text-size preferences. Comparison inputs and results are held in memory during use rather than included in the saved working draft.
On Android, persistent app data is stored in the app's private preferences. The browser preview uses browser local storage for projects, drafts, and preferences.
The inspected implementation does not send document contents or other user information to the developer. It contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash-reporting SDKs, and does not collect account details, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, camera data, or microphone data.
How information is used
The app uses your content to edit and format JSON, check syntax, display document trees, search keys, validate against its supported JSON Schema subset, generate sample documents, compare inputs, and import or export files. Locally saved information lets you reopen projects, restore your working draft, and keep your editor preferences.
Schema validation uses local JSON Pointer references. Remote schema references are not fetched.
File access and exports
On Android, you select files to import through the system document picker. The app reads the selected file. When exporting, you choose a filename and destination through the system file-creation interface, and the app writes the selected document or schema there.
The file provider or destination you choose may be a cloud storage service. Any handling by that provider is governed by its own policies and your settings. Exported files remain outside the app's private storage and are not removed when you delete a saved project or clear app data.
The browser preview stores your work locally in the browser; its file import and export controls direct users to the Android version.
Sharing and third-party components
JSON Schema Studio does not automatically share your documents or other user information with the developer, advertisers, or analytics providers. The inspected dependencies include Kotlin, Kotlin coroutines, AndroidX, and Compose components used to run the app and its interface; no third-party data collection service was identified.
Android backup is enabled in the app configuration. Depending on your device, operating system, and backup settings, locally stored app data may be included in system backups or device transfers. These processes are controlled by Android and the applicable backup provider, rather than an app-operated server.
Network use
The Android application declares the Internet permission, but the inspected application flow does not use a network service or transmit your workspace content. There is therefore no app-operated transmission of your documents for which encryption in transit applies. Transfers performed by a file provider, backup service, or email service depend on that provider.
Security
The app relies on Android's app-private storage protections, or browser storage protections in the preview. The inspected implementation does not add its own encryption to saved projects or drafts. Import, export, and storage failures may write operation details and exception information to local Android diagnostic logs or the browser console; no remote log upload is implemented.
No storage method guarantees complete security. Use device access controls and take care when entering sensitive information or choosing export and backup destinations.
Retention and deletion
Saved projects, working drafts, and preferences remain in local storage until you delete, replace, or clear them. The app does not apply a fixed automatic retention period.
You can delete individual saved projects in the Projects screen. Deleting a saved project leaves the current working draft available, so content may remain in that draft. To remove all app-managed local data on Android, use the device's app storage controls to clear the app's data. Uninstalling generally removes local app data, but system backups may remain or later restore it according to your backup settings. In the browser preview, clear the site's browser storage to remove its locally saved data.
Delete exported files separately through the file provider you selected. Manage any backup copies through the relevant device or provider controls.
You may send privacy or deletion questions to contact@azbruktov.online. The developer does not receive your locally stored workspace through the app and cannot remotely delete it. If you contact the developer by email, the address, message, and attachments you send will be available to the recipient and handled through the email service. A specific retention period for support correspondence has not been established in the available information.
Children's privacy
No intended age range has been established in the supplied information. The app does not implement accounts, advertising, tracking, or developer-side collection of children's personal information. Content entered into documents is processed locally in the same way for all users. If you have a concern involving a child's information, contact the privacy address below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or its information handling. Review the policy associated with the version you use for the current description of its practices.
